Sunrise Senior Living in Annapolis, MD is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to help keep the community safe, clean, and well‑functioning for residents, families, and staff. You will perform basic repairs, support HVAC and mechanical systems, and participate in preventative maintenance.

This role emphasizes safety, compliance with OSHA and fire safety standards, and daily building operations. Competitive hourly pay and eligible benefits accompany the role.

• Complete assigned maintenance tasks and work orders
• Perform basic repairs (plumbing, electrical, appliances, fixtures)
• Assist with painting and refurbishing projects
• Support HVAC, water, and mechanical system maintenance
• Perform preventative maintenance and safety checks
• Maintain tools, equipment, and repair inventory
• Support carpet and floor care as needed
• Assist with suite make-ready preparation
• Follow OSHA, fire safety, and infection control standards
• Participate in emergency preparedness and fire drills
• Drive community vehicle as assigned
• You play a key role in safety, compliance, and day-to-day building operations.

Pay Range: 17.95 - 22.45

In addition to base compensation, Sunrise may offer discretionary and/or non-discretionary bonuses. The eligibility to receive such a bonus will depend on the employee's position, plan/program offered by Sunrise at the time, and required performance pursuant to the plan.
