Job summary

Cope Plastics Inc. is seeking a dependable Maintenance Assistant to join our Maintenance team on 1st shift. The role is hands-on, supports the maintenance department, and requires the ability to work independently and follow instructions.

You will perform facility and equipment maintenance, assist technicians, and complete preventive tasks while maintaining a safe, clean work environment. A high school diploma and forklift license are required; 1 year of machinery maintenance experience is

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently ( forklift license required )
• Perform facility, equipment, and general maintenance tasks
• Assist maintenance workers and technicians with repairs, installations, and projects
• Complete preventive maintenance tasks as assigned
• Follow safety procedures and company policies
• Maintain clean and organized work areas
• Travel to other Cope Plastics locations for maintenance activities as needed

Job description

We are seeking a dependable, self-motivated Maintenance Assistant to join our Maintenance team. This hands-on position supports the maintenance department by performing a variety of facility, equipment, and general maintenance tasks.
