SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Investigate and correct production line problems.
- Observe and listen to machines or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.
- Inspect and troubleshoot parts and make recommendations in a timely manner.
- Utilize hand tools, gauges and instruments to determine source of problems.
- Demonstrate ability to read blueprints, schematics, manuals, and engineering documentation.
- Propose repair ideas to Supervisor and develop repair plan.
- Perform general and preventative maintenance and repair.
- Utilize CMMS software to track work progress daily.
- Completes scheduled work orders to fulfill assigned tasks in the maintenance/repair of plant equipment.
- Work with basic engineering equipment such as welders, lathes and power tools.
- Inspect visual flaws, lubricate machines as necessary.
- Complete and retain maintenance logs.
- Support Maintenance Supervisor as directed.
- Maintain a helpful and friendly working relationship with fellow employees.
- Comply with all applicable customer, safety, ISO/IATF 16949 QMS, and ISO14001 EMS requirements.
- Perform lock out/tag out procedures in accordance with company policy.
- Participate in on- call emergency schedule as assigned.
- Ability to work flexible schedule to support production needs M-F or Weekends.
- Ability to operate all PIT equipment to complete work tasks.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.

- Demonstrate professional expertise and knowledge of manufacturing process of our product.
- Ability to professionally and efficiently communicate directly with leadership via phone, email and in-person.
- Display excellent attention to detail in all tasks assigned.
- Ability to self-manage multiple projects and deadlines in an accurate and timely fashion.
- Maintain knowledge/document control of Mytex information in a confidential manner.
- Pursue constant improvement of customer service and professional skills.
MENTAL AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to maintain concentration with frequent interruptions.
- Professional, well-groomed appearance and attire is advised.
- Ability to lift/move up to 60lbs.
- Ability to single lift to 60 lbs. and team lift up to 120 lbs.
- Ability to twist, bend, push, pull and squat.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time, up to 12 hours per shift.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING
- Education: High school degree and in active pursuit of an associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
- Preferred Experience: 1+ year’s maintaining manufacturing type equipment.
- Ability to utilize computer-based software, Microsoft suite, and tablet applications.
- Familiar with conveyors, pneumatics and electrical components.
- Demonstrate basic manufacturing electrical knowledge.
The salary range for this position is $22 - $24 per hour . Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
