Job summary

Cintas Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Apprentice who will receive on-the-job training under the Maintenance Supervisor to learn repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of industrial equipment and systems.

This training position aims to prepare the individual for advancement after completing the program, with benefits including health, dental, and vision coverage, and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and understand maintenance literature printed in English.
• General knowledge and skills demonstrating a good mechanical background.
• Able to stand for up to 7 hours of an 8 hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Learn how to repair, maintain, and perform preventive/predictive maintenance on industrial equipment.
• Install and troubleshoot industrial equipment, systems, and components including washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyor systems and boilers.
• Perform indoor and outdoor housekeeping and adhere to health and safety policies.

Cintas is seeking a Maintenance Apprentice. Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Apprenticewill receive on-the-job training to: learn how to repair, maintain, perform preventive/predictive maintenance, installand troubleshoot industrial equipment, systemsand components, including washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyor systemsand boilers; learn proper operation of industrial wastewater treatment systems andwash alley equipment; perform indoor and outdoor housekeeping; adhere to Cintas' health and safety policies and procedures while learning to perform all duties. This is a training position to allow the individual to compete for advancement upon completion of the program.

Skills/Qualifications

Required

• Ability to read and understand maintenance literature printed in English
• General knowledge and skills that demonstrates good mechanical background
• Ability to stand for up to 7 hours ofan 8 hour shift
• High School Diploma/GED

Preferred

• Maintenance knowledge- sufficient formal or informal training to perform the duties of this position
• Any combination of general maintenance, building maintenance, equipment maintenance, automotive maintenance, construction, plumbing, electrical, and military experience is acceptable
• Experience with formalized safety programs preferred, such as Lock Out/Tag Out, Confined Space, OSHA Awareness, Technical School Coursesor Ladder Safety

Compensation
A reasonable estimate of base salary for this role ranges between $22.14 - $27.89/Hour. The range takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, and other business and organization needs. Please note, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decision are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each decision.
