Job summary

Sazerac Company in Maryland seeks a Maintenance Manager to lead the Iron Bull Distillery’s maintenance and reliability programs, guiding a team to improve equipment performance and plant uptime. You will partner with Operations and Plant leadership to set priorities and deliver reliable, cost-effective results.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 5+ years of maintenance/plant operations experience, including supervisory leadership, planning, and communication skills.

Job Description/Responsibilities

Lead the maintenance and reliability function for Iron Bull Distillery, supporting safe, reliable, and efficient operations. You’ll lead a team, improve equipment performance, manage maintenance and capital budgets, and partner closely with Operations and Plant leadership on plant-wide priorities. This role offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on reliability, cost, safety, team development, and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
• 5+ years of relevant maintenance/plant operations experience
• Supervisory or people leadership experience with strong planning, organization, communication, and team development skills.

Preferred

• Experience in the alcohol beverage industry, CPG, or a similar manufacturing environment.
• Experience with reliability improvement, capital projects, preventative maintenance, or continuous improvement programs.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds without assistance.

The annual salary range for this role is $108,888- $163,333. Final compensation will be based on relevant experience, qualifications, geographic location, and internal pay equity considerations.
