Job summary

Sazerac Company is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team of skilled technicians and electricians in our production facility. The role focuses on safe, reliable maintenance, improving equipment uptime, and partnering with production and engineering teams to meet efficiency goals.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree, strong communication and leadership abilities, and experience in a highly automated manufacturing environment.

Job Description/Responsibilities

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of skilled maintenance technicians and electricians to support safe, reliable, and efficient production operations. This role serves as a key leader within the facility, driving equipment reliability, employee development, continuous improvement, and operational excellence while partnering closely with production and engineering teams.

What You’ll Do:

• Coach, develop, and support maintenance technicians and electricians while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Direct safe maintenance execution by ensuring employees and contractors comply with established safety procedures and best practices before, during, and after maintenance activities.
• Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities to maximize equipment uptime and production efficiency.
• Partner with production, engineering, and quality teams to troubleshoot equipment issues, improve reliability, support operational goals, and communicate critical equipment issues to facility leadership.
• Drive continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives that enhance safety, quality, productivity, and overall equipment performance.

Schedule: 2nd Shift (2:30-11:00pm) M-F, weekends as needed.

Qualifications/Requirements

Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Leadership experience

Preferred:

• 3 years of maintenance, manufacturing, engineering, or related industrial experience.
• Experience within beverage, food manufacturing, consumer packaged goods, or other highly automated production environments.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Background in PLCs, motor controls, and industrial automation, with hands-on experience troubleshooting and resolving controls-related issues.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to work in manufacturing environments with moving mechanical equipment, elevated noise levels, vibration, humidity, and electrical systems.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
