Sazerac Company in Maryland is seeking an electromechanical maintenance technician to own equipment reliability across the facility, blending hands-on electrical and mechanical work with problem solving and continuous improvement.

The role includes preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and supporting automation initiatives to improve safety, quality, and plant performance. Schedule is Monday–Thursday 7am–5pm with some overtime; compensation includes medical, dental, vision, 401K, and PTO.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years of electromechanical or industrial maintenance experience.

• Diagnose equipment issues and implement solutions that reduce downtime and improve plant performance.
• Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs while interpreting schematics, ladder logic, and technical drawings.
• Support automation and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate across teams to uphold SOPs and ensure compliance with safety, food safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Job Description/Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll take ownership of equipment reliability and performance across the facility—combining hands‑on electrical and mechanical expertise with problem-solving and continuous improvement. You’ll play a key role in minimizing downtime, optimizing systems, and helping shape a culture of safety, quality, and operational excellence.

Schedule: Monday - Thursday 7am-5pm with some overtime

Qualifications/Requirements

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 3 years of relevant electromechanical or industrial maintenance experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's degree
• Hands‑on experience with Allen‑Bradley PLCs (programming, troubleshooting, and hardware)

The annual hourly range for this role is $32.40- $48.60. Final compensation will be based on relevant experience, qualifications, geographic location, and internal pay equity considerations.
