Job summary

Lineage is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our cold storage operations running safely and smoothly in Albany, GA. You will troubleshoot, repair, and improve mechanical, electrical, and ammonia refrigeration systems, performing hands-on work with industrial ammonia refrigeration equipment.

This role requires 3+ years of maintenance experience (ammonia preferred), exposure to cold environments, lifting up to 50 lbs, and flexibility for weekends or overtime.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience or trade school training in facility, equipment, or refrigeration maintenance (ammonia).
• Hands-on experience with ammonia refrigeration systems preferred.
• Ammonia refrigeration certifications (e.g., RETA, IIAR, or equivalent) are a plus.
• Skilled with hand and power tools; basic computer proficiency.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving ability, and communication skills.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and work in cold or warm environments (–20°F to 100°F).
• Flexible availability, including weekends or overtime as needed.

At Lineage, you’ll play a key role in maintaining the equipment and systems that keep our cold storage facilities running 24/7. As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll troubleshoot, repair, and improve the mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systems that power our operation — including hands‑on work with industrial ammonia refrigeration systems essential to our success.
