Responsibilities

• Participates in defining the maintenance planning implementation in his/her area.
• Follows up maintenance work by controlling resource availability and service compliance with time, cost, quality and safety standards.
• Ensures availability of necessary materials and spare parts required to carry out on projects.
• Participates in the homologation process of new supplies and services.
• Prepares the budget for spare parts and conducts stock counts.
• Coordinates inputs for repairs and analyzes cost behavior and cost reduction options.
• Analyzes machine performance to identify defect causes and propose corrective/preventive actions.
• Generates improvement opportunities to maximize machine life.
• Manages and updates the maintenance information system, keeping records for the area.
• Participates in maintenance programs to minimize/optimize energy usage.
• Defines procedures and promotes maintenance program execution to save energy.
• Complies with HSE procedures, reports incidents, performs inspections and participates in investigations.
• Implements preventive/corrective actions and keeps risk and environmental assessments updated.
• Protects facilities, equipment and resources from damage, theft or misuse.
