Job summary

TDP Bakery is hiring a Maintenance Aide for our Houston bakery. The role supports warehouse receiving, equipment and facility maintenance, sanitation breakdowns, and inventory control to keep operations safe and organized.

The position offers weekly pay, with started pay of $18.00 per hour. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this hands-on job requires following GMP, safety policies, and local regulations while working in a fast-paced bakery environment.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with maintenance procedures.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently or on a team.
• Ability to use basic tools and follow written and verbal instructions; forklift training preferred.
• Warehouse, maintenance, or manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with receiving deliveries, verify shipments, and organize warehouse materials.
• Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs on equipment and facility infrastructure as directed.
• Support sanitation teams with equipment disassembly and breakdowns for deep cleaning.
• Track inventory, assist with stock counts, and maintain accurate materials records.
• Safely operate forklifts and scissor lifts after required training and authorization.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), food safety procedures, and workplace safety policies.
• Maintain orderly work areas and complete other tasks assigned by the lead or Maintenance Supervisor.

We have an immediate opening fora Maintenance Aide (Warehouse) at our Houston bakery and are offering weekly pay! Starting at $18.00 per hour. Full-time and part-time opportunities. Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Manual dexterity and coordination to handle tools and equipment.
• Ability to kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, and occasionally climb ladders or reach overhead.
• Commercial bakery and warehouse environment with machinery, moving equipment, noise, varying temperatures, and cleaning chemicals.
• Work may take place on the production floor, doughnut line, oven department, sanitation areas, and washroom facilities.
