Foster Farms is seeking a Maintenance A at the Ellenwood Hatchery in Waterford, CA to oversee all maintenance activities and ensure hatchery equipment operates safely and efficiently.

The role includes monitoring a budget-friendly parts inventory, performing electrical troubleshooting, welding, and general building upkeep, and coordinating with plant safety and preventive maintenance programs. On-site, full-time position with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Must monitor and direct maintenance personnel so that all job requests are completed in a safe and timely manner.
• Must monitor and control a parts inventory in a cost-effective manner that is within budgeted costs.
• Must have basic math skills.
• Must have strong organizational skills.
• Must be able to move 100 pounds.
• Must have strong welding skills.
• Must have good electrical knowledge.
• 4 - 6 years' experience in the hatcheries preferred.
• Must maintain an acceptable DMV record.
• Pallet jack and forklift training.
• Respirator training.
