Job summary

The Salvation Army ARC-Miami is seeking a Full Time Maintenance Technician at ARC-MIAMI in Miami, FL to upkeep center facilities and prevent future issues. You will perform general maintenance including minor plumbing, electrical, painting, and other building tasks in compliance with policies and applicable regulations.

High school diploma or GED is preferred and at least two years of hands-on experience repairing minor electrical/plumbing and facilities issues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, and two years of experience repairing minor electrical/plumbing and facilities issues or an equivalent combination of training and experience

Responsibilities

• Maintains center facilities and performs preventative maintenance to reduce future problems.
• Performs general maintenance including minor plumbing, electrical, painting, and other facilities tasks.
• Ensures maintenance activities operate within policies, procedures, and local, state, and federal regulations.

Job Category: PropertyParticipates in the maintenance of center facilities performing preventative maintenance to reduce future problems. General knowledge and the ability to perform general maintenance related to the facilities including but not limited to: minor plumbing, electrical, painting, and minor facilities maintenance. Ensures maintenance activities operate within established policies and procedures and local state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

Education and Experience: High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred, and two years of experience repairing minor electrical/plumbing and facilities issues or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
