Job summary

Tip Top Poultry Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to troubleshoot mechanical issues, perform repairs, and support preventive maintenance in a food-processing facility. The role includes assisting with machinery assembly/dismantling and maintaining careful records of tasks completed.

Candidates should be able to lift 75 lbs, operate hand tools, and navigate facility operations with attention to safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

MAINTENANCE MECHANIC
Ensure food safety, quality and legality
Troubleshoot mechanical problems
Make repairs and alterations for facility as directed
Performs mechanical and electrical preventive maintenance as required
Assists in the assembly and dismantling of production machinery
Maintains accurate record of completed assignments
Keeps management informed of machinery and facility problems
Assists in other departmental areas as needed

Extensive mobility and excellent physical condition; ability to lift 75 lbs.; ability to operate all necessary hand tools; ability to kneel, crouch, climb, crawl, etc. to reach items in need of repair; ability to drive forklift, yard dog, and truck; tolerance to all extreme weather conditions, such as very hot or very cold temperatures.
