Job summary

Friendship Village Retirement Community is seeking a 2nd shift Maintenance role to support residents and staff by handling general maintenance requests and assisting with resident transportation and building security. The ideal candidate has handyman experience, positive demeanor, and flexibility as duties may change with notices.

Typical hours are 2pm–10pm, Monday–Friday, with rotating weekends/holidays and on-call hours. Flexibility to work 3rd shift as needed is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have transportation and valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Prior maintenance experience required.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Work involves moderate to heavy work in all types of weather.
• Frequent need to stand, stop, walk, and lift heavy objects.

2nd shift Maintenance

Friendship Village Retirement Community is looking to fill a 2nd shift Maintenance position. In this position you provide service to our residents and staff by completing general maintenance requests as well as assist with the transportation of residents and building security.

The ideal candidate must have general maintenance/handyman experience, be flexible as duties being performed can change at a monuments notices. Must have an upbeat personality and attitude making residents feel confident, comfortable and cared for.

Working hours are generally 2pm to 10pm Monday through Friday with rotating weekends, holidays and on call hours. Flexibility to work 3rd shift as needed.
