Job summary

Friendship Village Retirement Community is seeking a reliable Property/Apartment Maintenance Worker to handle a variety of tasks across maintenance, carpentry, and grounds keeping. You will fix, repair, install, and build as needed while ensuring safe, quality work for residents.

Typical hours are 7:30am–4:00pm, Monday to Friday, with rotating weekends/holidays. Applicants must be 18+, able to lift 100+ lbs, and have a valid driver’s license to move between buildings.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Able to safely operate power tools.
• Able to safely lift 100+lbs.
• Must have a valid driver's license and transportation to move between buildings.
• Ability to withstand extreme temperatures outdoors (summer heat and winter cold).
• Exceptional customer service - working effectively with residents and others.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of work order requests (changing light fixtures, repairing plumbing, repairing walls).
• Move/install appliances and carpet cleaning.
• General carpentry, building walls, installing windows.
• Grounds keeping and outdoor maintenance.
• Fix, repair, install, and build as needed.

Friendship Village is looking for someone who is great at getting things fixed the first time around.

As a member of the Property Maintenance team, you will complete a variety of work order requests such as changing light fixtures, repairing plumbing, repairing walls, moving / installing appliances and carpet cleaning, as well as general carpentry, building walls, installing windows, and grounds keeping. Fixing, repairing, installing, and building whatever is needed.

Friendship Village is looking for a reliable and diligent individual to join our Property Maintenance team.

Working Hours:

• 7:30am - 4:00pm Monday through Friday
• Rotating weekends and holidays
• Must be flexible and willing to work any hours as needed

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Able to safely operate power tools
• Able to safely lift 100+lbs
• Must have a valid driver's license and transportation to be able to move from building to building
• Ability to withstand extreme temperature working outdoors (summer heat and winter cold)
