Job summary

Spring Haven, Winter Haven, FL is seeking an experienced Senior Maintenance Technician to join a large senior living community (over 299 units, 300,000+ sq. ft.).

HVAC certification is required; the role involves managing HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical tasks, and PTAC/unit installations with a service-oriented approach. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, dependable, and able to communicate with residents with compassion.

Qualifications

• HVAC Certification required.
• Experience with mini-splits and traditional split systems.
• Soldering, plumbing and basic electrical skills are required.
• Experience in large senior living communities is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems (mini-splits, traditional split systems, PTACs, package units).
• Conduct soldering, plumbing, and basic electrical work.
• Install and maintain PTACs and package units.
• Respond to maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
• Ensure the safety, security, and functionality of building systems.
• Work with team to ensure resident satisfaction.
• Document all maintenance activities.

Senior Maintenance Technician

About the Role

Spring Haven is seeking an experienced and dependable Senior Maintenance Technician to join our dedicated team serving a large senior living community (over 300,000 sq. ft., 299 units). The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, HVAC certified, and passionate about providing exceptional service to our residents.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems (mini-splits, traditional split systems, PTACs, package units)
• Conduct soldering, plumbing, and basic electrical work
• Install and maintain PTACs and package units
• Respond to maintenance requests promptly and professionally
• Ensure the safety, security, and functionality of building systems
• Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure resident satisfaction
• Complete routine inspections and document all maintenance activities

Qualifications

• HVAC Certification required
• Proven experience with mini-splits, split systems, soldering, PTAC and package unit installation
• Plumbing and electrical skills required
• Experience in large senior living communities (300,000+ sq. ft. and/or 200+ units) is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Reliable, dependable, and passionate about serving the senior population
• Ability to communicate with compassion and professionalism
