Jefferson Metropolitan Housing Authority is seeking a Maintenance Technician to handle routine and skilled maintenance at JMHA properties in a full‑time role. Responsibilities include carpentry, plumbing, electrical repairs, and general upkeep, with on‑call rotation as needed.
The position requires at least two years in construction trades or maintenance, a vocational program credential if applicable, and a valid driver’s license.
Maintenance Technicians are responsible for performing routine and skilled maintenance tasks including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs at JMHA properties. They ensure that buildings and facilities are well‑maintained, safe, and in good working order, troubleshooting, conducting preventative maintenance, and responding to work orders promptly.
Full‑time, Monday through Friday 8 am–4:30 pm with on‑call rotation. Pay range commensurate with experience starting at $20.06/hour.
