Job summary

New Haven Residential Treatment Center in Saratoga Springs, UT is seeking a hands‑on maintenance professional to care for grounds, landscaping, and facilities across our campuses.

The role blends outdoor duties with general maintenance, including carpentry, electrical repairs, snow removal, and safe handling of lawn chemicals. You will take ownership of projects and work independently to keep spaces clean, safe, and welcoming. Experience in maintenance or landscaping is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance, landscaping, or facilities support preferred.
• Working knowledge of mowers, trimmers, and edgers.
• Basic skills in preventive maintenance and repair.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve grounds, landscaping, and outdoor areas.
• Perform routine landscaping tasks (weeding, irrigation, lawn care).
• Apply lawn care treatments and chemicals safely.
• Care for the pond and surrounding outdoor spaces.
• Support campus operations across locations.
• Complete general maintenance projects including carpentry, electrical repairs, drywall and painting.
• Conduct small appliance repairs.
• Assist with campus vehicle upkeep.
• Handle seasonal duties, including snow removal.
• Take ownership of tasks and complete projects independently.
• Support additional maintenance needs as assigned.

Overview

Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 a year

Location: Saratoga Springs, UT (On‑site)

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve grounds, landscaping, and outdoor areas
• Perform routine landscaping tasks (weeding, irrigation, lawn care)
• Apply lawn care treatments and chemicals safely
• Care for the pond and surrounding outdoor spaces
• Support both North and South campus operations
• Complete general maintenance projects including:
  • Carpentry
  • Electrical repairs
  • Drywall and painting
• Conduct small appliance repairs
• Assist with campus vehicle upkeep
• Handle seasonal duties, including snow removal
• Take ownership of tasks and complete projects independently
• Support additional maintenance needs as assigned

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance, landscaping, or facilities support (preferred)
• Working knowledge of tools such as mowers, trimmers, and edgers

• Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail
• Ability to safely work with cleaning and landscaping chemicals

Work Environment

• Combination of indoor and outdoor work
• Exposure to varying weather conditions (heat, cold, wind, rain, snow)
• Physically active role requiring lifting, moving, and hands‑on tasks
