Job description

Maintenance Darlington Wisconsin (US) Operations & Manufacturing 40+

Build a Career with a Global Leader in Dairy

You're the person everyone calls when something isn't working and you wouldn't have it any other way.

At FrieslandCampina, our Maintenance Technicians are the problem-solvers who keep our plant running. When production depends on equipment performing at its best, you're the one who can diagnose the issue, make the repair, and get things moving again.

We're looking for experienced maintenance professionals who enjoy troubleshooting, thinking on their feet, and taking pride in fixing equipment the right way, not just the quickest way.

If you've built your career maintaining equipment in food, dairy, beverage, or another manufacturing environment, we'd love to talk with you.

What You'll Do

No two days are exactly alike, and that's one of the best parts of the job.

As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you'll help keep our operation running safely and efficiently by troubleshooting equipment, making repairs, and preventing unexpected downtime.

Your day could include:

Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.

Repairing and maintaining production equipment and facility systems.

  • Replacing motors, pumps, bearings, conveyors, valves, gearboxes, and other production equipment.
  • Working closely with Production to quickly diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
  • Helping identify ways to improve equipment reliability and plant efficiency.
  • Following all food safety, quality, and workplace safety requirements.
What We're Looking For

This is a skilled maintenance position. We're looking for someone who enjoys solving problems and has experience maintaining industrial equipment in a manufacturing environment.

What you bring:

High School Diploma or GED.

Previous experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician, Maintenance Mechanic, Millwright, or similar skilled maintenance role.

Experience troubleshooting mechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment.

Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, pumps, bearings, conveyors, and power transmission systems.

Ability to read blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical manuals.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

It’d be even better if you have:

Experience in food, dairy, beverage, or ingredient manufacturing.

Industrial electrical troubleshooting experience.

Experience working with PLC-controlled equipment.

Welding and fabrication experience.

Technical degree, apprenticeship, or skilled trades certification.

Who Thrives in This Role?

Our best Maintenance Technicians are people who:

Stay calm when equipment goes down.

Like finding the root cause, not just the quick fix.

  • Think ahead to prevent future problems.
  • Put safety first in everything they do.

You spend a lot of time at work. We think it should be somewhere you're challenged, supported, and genuinely enjoy coming to every day.

Make a Difference

You're not just fixing equipment, you help keep an entire operation moving.

Every repair, every preventative maintenance task, and every problem you solve helps our teams produce safe, high-quality dairy products that customers count on every day. You'll work alongside Production, Engineering, and Operations to improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and keep our facility running at its best.

Keep Growing

Whether you're looking to sharpen your troubleshooting skills, expand your electrical or mechanical expertise, or take the next step in your maintenance career, we'll give you the opportunity to keep learning, growing, and making an impact.

What we offer
$23.93 - 29.92/hour
