Job summary

Peco Foods Inc. in Mississippi is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the plant’s electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems. You will run conduit, perform field splices, and set up production equipment while following strict safety protocols and USDA guidelines.

The role requires hands-on maintenance, welding, and basic cutting, with the ability to work extended hours, weekends, and overtime as needed in a cold production environment. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have basic knowledge of industrial electrical circuits.
• Knowledge of electronics and pie programming.
• Be able to run conduit and make field splices.
• Be able to trouble shoot, overhaul, repair and maintain plant hydraulics.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and make minor repairs as needed to plant equipment.
• Must demonstrate general welding and basic cutting.
• Be able to set-up, operate, adjust, and maintain production equipment.
• Be familiar and practice Lock out/Tag out safety procedures daily.
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Basic math skills and a positive attitude
• Knowledge of USDA rules and requirements
• Safety oriented
• Ability to lift 80lbs
• Must be able to work flexible hours and occasional weekends
• Must be able to work overtime if needed
• Must be able to work in cold temperature
