Job summary

NorthStar Memorial Group in Lakewood, WA is seeking a Maintenance Employee at Mountain View Memorial Park. The role focuses on grounds and facility upkeep with emphasis on safety and respect for memorials.

Responsibilities include general maintenance, lawn care, cleaning and minor repairs, and operating equipment. Applicants should have physical stamina and a valid driver’s license; 6+ months groundskeeping experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform essential physical tasks including lifting and moving material, walking, standing, bending and balancing.
• 6+ months of grounds keeping or maintenance experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• General facility maintenance, including cleaning, minor repairs and painting.
• Cuts grass and maintains lawns, trees, walkways and memorial markers.
• Removes wilted floral arrangements and clears debris from drives and walkways.
• Pressure washes parking areas and cleans ponds and fountains.

NorthStar Memorial Group is seeking a Maintenance Employee at Mountain View Memorial Park in Lakewood, WA. Responsibilities

• General Facility Maintenance, including :
  • Cleans and maintains the facility, performs minor repairs, painting, etc.
  • Vehicle and equipment washing/cleaning
• Cuts grass.
• Maintains lawn and trims around trees, walkways, and memorial markers
• Removes wilted floral arrangements
• Blows leaf and grass
• Edges with stick edger
• Clears debris and maintains drives and walkways in a safe condition.
• Cleans ponds and fountains
• Hand digs/trenching
• Pressure washing parking areas as needed

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent education preferred
• This role requires the ability to perform essential physical tasks associated with groundskeeping and facility maintenance, including operating equipment, lifting and moving materials, and performing activities such as walking, standing, bending, stooping, climbing, and balancing.
• 6 + months of experience in grounds keeping preferred
• Valid Driver's License

Compensation

• $18.50-19.50/hr.
