Job summary

Mineral Palace Hotel & Gaming in Deadwood, SD is seeking a versatile Maintenance team member who can support the Maintenance Manager in keeping the property in top condition. The role requires independent work as well as collaborative effort, with broad knowledge across painting, HVAC, carpentry, and general equipment maintenance.

You will perform repairs across facilities, buildings, and grounds, handle routine and extensive tasks, move furniture, and assist with snow removal and parking area

Qualifications

• Broad maintenance knowledge across facilities, buildings and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and with others.
• Experience with painting, HVAC, carpentry and related repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs of facilities, buildings, grounds and equipment including electrical, carpentry, plumbing and painting tasks.
• Repair and treat structures such as showers, floors, sinks, walls, carpets and roofs.
• Perform minor repairs and troubleshooting; assist with moving furniture and equipment.
• Support in maintaining sidewalks and parking areas, and snow removal.

[It is your responsibility to support the Maintenance Manager in maintaining overall appearance and working order of the Mineral Palace Property. This position must be able to work independently as well as with others. The position requires overall maintenance knowledge and troubleshooting ability with skills in painting, HVAC, carpentry, equipment, and tool usage. • Performing repair or general Maintenance work of facilities, buildings, grounds, and equipment at various sites including electrical, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, glazier, and painting tasks.
