Job summary

Schwan's Company is seeking a 1st shift production worker in Erie for a full-time role in a food manufacturing environment.

You will set up and run production lines, perform quality checks, and document downtime and HACCP forms using SAP. The position requires safety-focused work, the ability to handle multiple machines, and flexibility for overtime or weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of related experience.
• Ability to operate multiple machines safely with minimal supervision.
• Adaptability to flexible work hours including potential overtime and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Set up, pre-run, and perform quality checks on equipment to ensure proper production startup.
• Operate and control line speeds, batch formulas, and production rates; start and stop equipment as needed.
• Perform light maintenance and preventative maintenance on equipment; assist maintenance team with repairs and service tasks.
• Complete all required documentation, including downtime logs and HACCP forms, using SAP and in accordance with SOPs and safety training.
• Disassemble, clean, and reassemble production lines and equipment as needed for sanitation and maintenance.

Starting Pay: $23.00 per hour Shift: 1st Shift Hours: Between 6:00am - 5:00pm
