Job summary

The Swan Food Company in Fullerton, CA is seeking a production associate for a full-time role in a food manufacturing environment with opportunities for advancement.

You will set up, pre-run, and perform quality checks on equipment, control line speeds and production rates, and assist with routine maintenance while documenting downtime and HACCP forms per SAP and SOPs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of related experience.
• Ability to operate multiple machines safely with minimal supervision.
• Flexibility for overtime and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Set up, pre-run, and perform quality checks on equipment for startup.
• Operate line speeds, batch formulas, and production rates.
• Perform light and preventative maintenance; assist repairs.
• Document downtime logs and HACCP forms per SAP and SOPs.
• Disassemble, clean, and reassemble lines for sanitation and maintenance.

What You Will Do:

• Set up, pre-run, and perform quality checks on equipment to ensure proper production startup.


• Operate and control line speeds, batch formulas, and production rates; start and stop equipment as needed.


• Perform light maintenance and preventative maintenance on equipment; assist maintenance team with repairs and service tasks.


• Complete all required documentation, including downtime logs and HACCP forms, using SAP and in accordance with SOPs and safety training.


• Disassemble, clean, and reassemble production lines and equipment as needed for sanitation and maintenance.

What You Will Bring:

• High school diploma or GED required.


• 3+ years of related experience.


• Ability to operate multiple machines safely with minimal supervision and obtain necessary production specifications.


• Adaptability to flexible work hours based on production demands, including potential overtime and weekend shifts.
