Job summary

Universal Health Services (Palo Verde Behavioral Health) in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team. The role covers general maintenance across the facility, including carpentry, electrical work, pipefitting, plumbing, painting, lighting, grounds keeping and routine equipment care.

The Maintenance Tech will perform skilled duties related to installation, repair and troubleshooting of building systems, support boiler/HVAC/refrigeration tasks, and assist contractors

Qualifications

• Preferably one year experience in facilities/plant operations.
• Experience in painting, drywall, AC/Heating, basic electrical/generator.
• Must be 21 years of age and able to obtain/maintain an AZ Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance duties in a healthcare facility.
• Carry out carpentry, electrical maintenance, pipefitting, plumbing, painting and grounds keeping.
• Repair, install and troubleshoot facility systems and equipment.
• Assist/monitor on-site service for boilers, heat pumps, AC/heating, chillers and refrigeration units.

Palo Verde Behavioral Health is seeking a Maintenance Tech to join our Team!

The Maintenance Tech performs general maintenance duties/functions of a healthcare facility. These include simple carpentry, electrical maintenance, pipefitting, plumbing tasks as well as replacing light bulbs, painting/patchwork, grounds keeping, lubricating and performing simple maintenance on machines and equipment and other general maintenance as required.

This position carries out skilled technical duties involving repair, maintenance, replacement, installation for all facility related maintenance needs where able. These duties can include simple carpentry, electrical maintenance, pipefitting, plumbing tasks as well as replacing light bulbs, painting/patchwork, grounds keeping, lubricating and performing simple maintenance on machines and equipment and other general maintenance as required. May include fixing, repairing and performing and troubleshooting on boilers, heat pumps, air-conditioning, chillers and refrigeration units and/or assisting/monitoring other parties while they provide on-site service.
