Job summary

Toyoda Gosei Americas in Kentucky seeks a Full Time Maintenance Machinist for 2nd shift. You will perform maintenance and repair of plant equipment, tooling, and fixtures, including mold prep and production tooling.

You must have strong hands-on skills, able to lift 25 lbs regularly, and familiarity with Lathe, Mill, and Surface Grinder. High School diploma or GED required; 5 years maintenance machinist experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to use small hand tools.
• Ability to stoop, bend, kneel and twist.
• Regularly lift/move 25 lbs; may lift up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair of plant equipment, machinery and tooling including mold preparation, pre-production and production tooling & fixtures.
• Mold Tuning and Trouble Shooting Molds.
• Perform overall maintenance for buildings, equipment, grounds and machinery.
• Work with subcontractors as directed.
• Analyze maintenance failures for trends and implement countermeasures to prevent recurrence.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Ensure EMS / QMS procedures are followed in performance of job duties.
