Job summary

Toyoda Gosei Americas in Hopkinsville, KY is hiring for a Full Time - 1st Shift Maintenance Technician responsible for PM maintenance and repair of plant equipment, molds and tooling, and collaboration with subcontractors. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, demonstrated leadership, and knowledge of electrical/electronic machinery, hydraulics, pneumatics and general manufacturing maintenance.

Willingness to lift 25 lbs and occasionally up to 100 lbs with assistance; use of small hand

Responsibilities

• Perform PM maintenance and repair of plant equipment, machinery and tooling including mold preparation, pre-production and production tooling and fixture fabrication
• Perform all PM maintenance on molds, equipment & facilities as needed.
• Work with subcontractors and manufacturing maintenance as needed
• Assist and analyze maintenance failures on molding processes for tends and implement countermeasures to prevent recurrence
• Assist in ordering and reordering spare parts
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Perform other duties, work overtime and different shifts as assigned by supervisor
• Ensure EMS / QMS procedures are followed in performance of job duties

• Skilled in computer usage including Microsoft Office Suite
• Basic knowledge of electrical and motor controls
• Experience with maintenance management software.
• Basic knowledge of mold cleaning, mold change out & setup of parameters.
• Must be able to stoop, bend, kneel and twist
• Basic experience in manufacturing maintenance (hydraulics, pneumatics and fabrication).
• Must be able to lift/move 25 lbs. regularly; may occasionally lift/move up to 100 lbs. but only with assistance from team members or mechanical equipment
• Knowledge of using dry ice blasting machines, sand blasting cabinets.
• Must be able to use small hand tools

Full Time - 1st Shift Position
