Job summary

Heidelberg Materials is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance and repairs on crushers, conveyors, screens and other aggregate processing equipment at our North American sites. You will inspect, troubleshoot and complete preventive maintenance to maximize uptime and plant performance.

We require strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to read manuals and diagrams, and a commitment to safety and quality. This on-site role offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to diagnose and repair industrial equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, technical diagrams, and maintenance documentation.
• Knowledge of maintenance tools, welding, cutting, or fabrication techniques applicable to plant equipment.

Conditions of Employment

Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.

Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.

Work Environment

Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
