Job summary

Smurfit Westrock is seeking an experienced maintenance electrician to inspect, test, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical and instrumentation systems in a safe manner within a paper mill.

In this role you will perform preventive, routine, and reactive maintenance, including instrument and electrical troubleshooting, loop tuning, PLC/DCS and drives, as well as 480 V/medium and high voltage skills, with rotating shifts and overtime as required. Attention to safety and quality is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Available to work rotating shifts and overtime as required.
• Decision making and troubleshooting abilities, good communication and computer skills.

Job Summary:

Requirements:

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Available to work rotating shifts and overtime as required
• Decision making and troubleshooting abilities, good communication and computer skills
• Must be highly motivated, conscientious, and a good team player with a positive attitude

Preferred Qualifications:

• Graduation from an approved apprentice program and/or technical or military trade school is highly preferred.
• Five + years industrial experience in their craft.
