Job summary

Suncore is hiring in the Ogden area for a trackhoe operator to excavate pipeline ditches, install sewer structures, and verify slopes using lasers and surveying tools. You will read blueprints, coordinate layouts with supervisors, and ensure quality and safety across all tasks.

Ideal candidates bring at least one year of trackhoe experience, a commitment to safe, quality work, and the ability to work outdoors in varying conditions. Team-first communication is essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate a mainline trackhoe to excavate pipeline ditches safely and efficiently.
• Install sanitary and storm sewer structures and pipe systems.
• Read grades and verify slopes using lasers, grade rods, and transit levels.
• Work from blueprints and coordinate layouts with supervisors.
• Position, align, and backfill pipe while maintaining quality and safety standards.
