Job summary

Suncore Construction & Materials is looking for a Mainline Trackhoe Operator to join our field team. You will dig pipeline ditches, install pipe systems, and help build critical infrastructure with safety and teamwork at the forefront.

As part of our crew, you will read blueprints, position pipes, check slopes with lasers, and coordinate with supervisors to ensure accurate layouts and timely completion. Competitive benefits and opportunities for growth are offered.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience operating a trackhoe.
• Ability to bend, sit for long periods, and work in the heat.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to safely operate equipment around teammates and utilities.
• Ability to work well with others in a team environment.

Things You’ll Do

• Skillfully operate a mainline trackhoe to dig pipeline ditches.
• Install sanitary and storm water sewer structures and pipe systems.
• Check slopes for conformance to requirements, using instruments such as lasers, grade rods, or transit levels.
• Layout pipe routes, following blueprints or written instructions and work with supervisors to coordinate layout.
• Align and position pipes to prepare them for sealing.
• Cover pipes with earth or other material.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience operating a trackhoe.
• Ability to bend, sit for long periods, and work in the heat.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs without assistance.
• Ability to safely operate equipment when around team members and utilities, ensuring the safety of all persons, equipment, property, and utilities in the area.
• Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
