Job summary

Suncore Construction & Materials is seeking a Mainline Trackhoe Operator to dig pipeline ditches and install pipe systems. You will work closely with the crew to ensure alignment and proper placement of pipes, following blueprints and safety protocols.

The role requires at least 1 year of trackhoe experience, the ability to work in heat, and strong teamwork skills. Benefits include comprehensive coverage and paid time off.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience operating a trackhoe.
• Ability to bend, sit for long periods, and work in the heat.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs without assistance.
• Ability to safely operate equipment around teammates and utilities.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Skillfully operate a mainline trackhoe to dig pipeline ditches.
• Install sanitary and storm water sewer structures and pipe systems.
• Check slopes for conformance to requirements, using lasers, grade rods, or transit levels.
• Layout pipe routes, following blueprints or written instructions and coordinate with supervisors.
• Align and position pipes to prepare them for sealing.
• Cover pipes with earth or other material.
