Roloff Construction is looking for a full-time worker in Omaha, NE to join our 100% employee-owned team. Responsibilities include excavation, pipe placement, and equipment operation under minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Excavate an on-line/on-grade trench that is properly sloped, benched or shored.
• Place pipe bedding and pipe in a trench.
• Attach/detach various buckets with a quick coupler.

Job Summary

• Under minimal supervision, safely and efficiently:
• excavate an on-line/on-grade trench that is properly sloped, benched or shored
• place pipe bedding and pipe in a trench
• attach/detach various buckets with a quick coupler

Hours

• Ability to work hourly full time, generally 7:00am to 5:30pm Monday through Friday and occasional Saturdays
• More/less hours may be required based on weather conditions and project demands
• Winter layoff may occur annually

• Authorized to work in the United States required
• Minimum of at least 18 years of age required

• Sit for long periods of time
• As necessary, get out of machine and assist ground personnel with pipe-laying operations

• Experience operating heavy equipment preferred
• Experience operating heavy equipment in the underground utility industry preferred
• High school education or equivalent preferred
