Job summary

An employee-owned construction company in Omaha seeks an Excavator Operator. Responsibilities include safely backfilling and compacting pipe trenches, using attachments as needed. Candidates must be at least 18 years old with a minimum of one year of excavator experience. The role includes working generally from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with overtime possible. Job Summary

Under minimal supervision, safely and efficiently backfill and compact pipe trench to specifications, changing/properly using compaction attachments as required.

Hours

• Ability to work hourly full time, generally 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and occasional Saturdays.
• More/less hours may be required based on weather conditions and project demands.
• Winter layoff may occur annually.

Qualifications

Required

• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Minimum of at least 18 years of age.

• Experience operating an excavator in the underground utility construction industry preferred.
• High school education or equivalent preferred.
