Job summary

AutoNation is hiring an Auto Technician to join our Spokane team. You will perform vehicle repairs and maintenance to dealer and factory standards, communicating with Service Advisors and Parts to keep production on track and ensure customer satisfaction.

The role requires 2+ years of automotive tech experience, technical training, and a valid in-state driver’s license. We offer paid OEM training, longevity bonuses, generous PTO, and clear career paths across roles and locations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as an automotive technician.
• Automotive technical training (varies by store)

Responsibilities

• Performing vehicle repair and/or maintenance work as outlined on the repair order, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
• Communicating with the Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to manage production and customer communication.
• Diagnosing malfunctions and performing repairs as authorized by the customer.
• Conducting multi-point inspections and recommending safety and reliability improvements.
• Documenting work on each vehicle and keeping tools organized.
• Staying current with factory bulletins and training classes to maintain expertise.
• Providing an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
