Job summary

DXC Technology is seeking a highly experienced Mainframe Technical Lead with deep expertise in WMA/Vantage products and Life Insurance systems to provide advanced production support and leadership for mission-critical applications. You will design, develop, test, and maintain Mainframe applications, analyze requirements, and coordinate deployments with minimal business disruption.

Qualifications

20 to 25 years of overall IT experience.
15+ years of deep expertise in WMA/Vantage products and Life Insurance systems.
Strong technical proficiency in COBOL, JCL, DB2, and related Mainframe technologies.

Responsibilities

Provide advanced production support and troubleshooting for mission-critical Mainframe applications and environments.
Lead technical support, incident resolution, and performance optimization for Mainframe-based applications.
Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain complex Mainframe applications while adhering to coding and quality standards.
Analyze business and technical requirements and implement enhancements for complex modules.
Coordinate deployments, releases, and production installations with minimal business impact.
Mentor development and support teams; lead code reviews and walkthroughs.
