Job summary

ITCAPS LLC is seeking a senior Mainframe Technical Lead for a major legacy modernization program to migrate IBM mainframe workloads from VSE 6.2 to z/OS 3.2. Direct VSE-to-z/OS migration experience is mandatory. Location: DFW, Texas.

Duration: 12-month contract with occasional travel to Dallas/McKinney. You will lead technical coordination across teams, liaison with the client and partners, and drive migration planning and progress tracking.

Qualifications

• Direct VSE-to-z/OS migration experience is mandatory.
• Strong IBM mainframe background across VSE and z/OS.
• Experience migrating from VSE 6.2 to z/OS 3.2.

ITCAPS is seeking a senior Mainframe Technical Lead for a major legacy modernization program. This is a client-facing leadership role focused specifically on migrating IBM mainframe workloads from VSE 6.2 to z/OS 3.2.

Direct VSE-to-z/OS migration experience is mandatory.

Required Experience

• Strong IBM mainframe background across VSE and z/OS
• Experience migrating from VSE 6.2 to z/OS 3.2
• Working knowledge of Easytrieve, JCL, COBOL, RPG, and Assembler
• Legacy application modernization and migration experience
• Strong client-facing communication and technical leadership skills
• Ability to coordinate across multiple technical and delivery teams
