Job summary
Fujitsu is seeking a software professional to further develop core operating system components of the BS2000 mainframe and support the full software lifecycle from design to testing and service. You will contribute to IT architecture design based on customer requirements and collaborate with international strategic partners.
You will also create technical documentation and content for user manuals, while assisting Service and Sales teams with technical expertise and problem resolution for your
Qualifications
- Completed degree in Computer Science or IT-related field.
- Experience in software development with Assembler, C/C++, and scripting languages.
- Experience with the software development lifecycle, source code management, and CI/CD.
- Strong analytical skills, flexibility, creativity, and a customer- and service-oriented mindset.
- Very good German language skills and good English language skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop core OS components of the BS2000 mainframe operating system and support the full lifecycle from specification to testing and service.
- Contribute to the design of IT architectures based on customer requirements.
- Collaborate in large development teams with international partners.
- Create technical documentation and content for user manuals.
- Support Service and Sales teams with technical expertise and issue resolution for own modules and third-party components.
