Job summary

Kyndryl designs, builds and modernizes mission-critical systems for Fortune 100 clients. In this strategic role you will bring your mainframe expertise to define modernization roadmaps, balance cost and risk, and identify opportunities to move applications to the cloud.

You'll design cutting-edge software frameworks, provide technical leadership to development teams, ensure enterprise-wide design standards, and document architectures to guide future work.

Qualifications

• Architectural experience of large customer change and transformation projects.
• In depth knowledge and experience of hardware and software including connectivity between platforms.

Responsibilities

• Define, assess, and prioritize modernization roadmaps taking into account cost and risk.
• Design cutting-edge software frameworks, systems, and products that set industry standards; conceive system interfaces and prototypes; resolve framework design weaknesses.
• Provide technical leadership to the application development team; perform design and code reviews; ensure enterprise-wide design standards are maintained.
• Create and maintain documentation surrounding software architecture, design processes, component integration, testing guidelines, and other key elements.
