• Ability to design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications using IBM Mainframe technologies.
• Develop and maintain COBOL programs to support complex business requirements.
• Create, modify, and execute JCL scripts for batch processing and job scheduling.
• Work with DB2 databases, including SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
• Develop and maintain CICS online transactions and screen processing.
• Work with VSAM datasets (KSDS/ESDS/RRDS).
• Analyze legacy applications and implement system enhancements.
• Perform batch processing, job monitoring, scheduling, and troubleshooting.
• Develop production support solutions for critical mainframe applications.
• Identify and resolve defects, abends, and performance issues.
• Perform code reviews, unit/integration/system testing.
• Participate in mainframe modernization and migration projects.
• Collaborate with BAs, QA, architects, and cross-functional teams.
• Optimize COBOL and DB2 queries for performance.
• Manage source code with Endevor/Changeman or Git.
• Support deployments, release management, and production implementation.
• Prepare technical documentation and participate in Agile development.
