Job Description: Mainframe Developer

We are seeking a Mainframe Developer with 6 to 10 years of relevant experience.

1. Perform and complete specific programming activities to deliver routine programs supporting business functions.
2. Test basic and routine functionalities to ensure successful completion and delivery of assignments.
3. Follow and contribute to defining specifications, coding standards, and project guidelines to maintain code integrity.
4. Collaborate with application team members to acquire systems knowledge.
5. Assist with systems support to ensure application operability and reliability.
6. Utilize integrated management tools for building, controlling, and automating the mainframe software development lifecycle.
7. Manage and automate the process of migrating software changes from development through testing environments into production.
8. Experience in Financial Services or Reference Data is highly desirable and required.
9. Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.
10. Hands-on experience with DB2, COBOL, basic file handling, and IBM utilities concepts is essential.
