Blueera Technologies, Inc. is seeking a skilled mainframe developer to act as a bridge between business and technology teams in Texas.

You will work on design, coding, testing, and debugging using COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL, and AWS database services, delivering high-quality software solutions that align with business goals. The role requires collaboration with sponsors, product owners, architects, and delivery teams, and involves code reviews, unit testing, and production support.

Position Summary

Act as the primary liaison between business and technology teams.

Facilitate discussions with sponsors, product owners, architects, and delivery teams. Application development experience in Design, coding, testing and debugging with mainframe skills such as CICS, VSAM, COBOL, DB2, JCL, AWS database(Postgress, Dynamo DB)

Programming, conduct code reviews, and test software as needed, ensuring quality of deliverables

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software solutions are aligned with business objectives

Identify and resolve technical issues and bugs in a timely manner

Conduct Code Reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and follow best practices

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Skills: Amazon Web Service(AWS) Cloud Computing: ReactJS Advanced Java Concepts: Spring Boot Angular 13+~Core Java.

Job Duties

Required Skills

• Core Languages: Strong proficiency in COBOL, JCL, and CICS.
• Databases: Solid experience working with DB2 (including writing SQL queries) and VSAM.
• Mainframe Tools: Familiarity with utilities such as TSO/ISPF, Changeman or Endevor (for version control), and debugging tools (like Xpediter or IBM Debugger).

Qualification

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
