KTek Resourcing LLC is seeking a highly skilled IBM Mainframe professional in Dallas, TX to analyze, design, develop, test, and deploy mainframe applications. You will work with COBOL, JCL, DB2, and CICS to deliver reliable, high-performance solutions.

The role emphasizes production support, incident management, debugging, and performance tuning, with strong emphasis on RCA and agile SDLC practices. Collaboration with business stakeholders and rigorous documentation are required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with IBM Mainframe (z/OS).
• Proficiency in JCL (Job Control Language).
• Experience with VSAM, CICS, and TSO/ISPF.
• Familiarity with SDSF and batch processing/job scheduling.
• Experience with Endevor, Changeman, or similar source control tools.
• Knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Production support and incident management experience.
• Debugging and performance tuning of mainframe applications.
• Application maintenance, enhancement, and support.
• Root cause analysis (RCA).
• Experience with batch job monitoring and scheduling.

Responsabilités

• Analyze, design, develop, test, and deploy mainframe applications.
• Perform coding and enhancements using COBOL, JCL, DB2, and CICS.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Work on batch job monitoring and scheduling activities.
• Coordinate with business stakeholders for requirement clarification.
• Conduct impact analysis for application changes.
• Support system integration and user acceptance testing.
• Prepare technical documentation and knowledge transfer artifacts.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards and operational procedures.
