Job summary

Infosys Limited seeks a Technology Consultant 2 for our Mainframe practice in Austin. You will drive requirements elicitation, guide design discussions, contribute to coding, and perform code reviews while supporting production issues.

Key focus on end-to-end SDLC delivery with COBOL, CICS, JCL, DB2/VSAM; agile teamwork and documentation are essential. A Bachelor’s degree is required; some relocation/travel may be needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in Mainframe technologies and software design.
• Proficiency with COBOL, CICS, JCL, COBOL in mainframe environments.
• DB2 and VSAM experience.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to requirements elicitation and document business requirements.
• Facilitate design discussions and document decisions for the technical team.
• Participate in coding, integrate features, and maintain code repositories.
• Conduct code reviews and maintain testing strategies to ensure quality.
• Develop user training, documentation, and support frameworks.
