Job description

We are searching for an experience developer who has worked on Mainframe (ideally AS/400) applications. In this position you will be working with a small/midsize logistics company to develop software for business-critical systems(ex. Shipping, logistics, accounting). The bulk of work will be done in RPG, but other languages and a strong background in developing similar applications can be considered.

This is a great opportunity to join a long-term stable team with great tenure. You will be developing , modifying, and maintaining business-critical applications and working directly with the business stakeholders benefitting.

This is an on-site position in Grapevine, TX.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ Years of experience
• Software development in at least one relevant language/framework (ideally RPG, COBOL)
• Experience developing on-prem or local server hosted applications
• Experience working directly with business stakeholders

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Management Information Systems (MIS) or similar
• Experience working on IBM I-Series AS/400
