Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Experience in mainframe development and COBOL.
• Proficiency with JCL, TSO/ISPF, and Endevor is required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze system specifications and translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain complex mainframe application components.
• Create detailed program specifications and technical documentation.
• Perform unit/system testing, debug issues, and validate results using test data/files.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement fixes and enhancements.
• Coordinate and support application implementations and changes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define scope, objectives, and solution approach.

Overview

Join a fast-paced, customer-focused application development environment supporting complex mainframe systems. This role focuses on analysis, design, development, testing, and troubleshooting of adjudication-related mainframe applications in a hybrid work setting. Candidates should be comfortable supporting time-sensitive production needs, including potential on-call responsibilities after an initial ramp-up period.
