Job summary

Kyndryl is seeking a DB2 DBA (z/OS) to manage, secure, and optimize our mainframe database environment in the United States. You will shape the system design, implement changes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high availability and performance.

Responsibilities include administering DB2 on z/OS, performing capacity planning, and leading disaster recovery planning. This role offers rotation-based on-call coverage and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of DB2 V12 and V13 experience.
• Experience with z/OS, JCL, TSO/ISPF, and DB2 utilities.
• Knowledge of SQL, performance tuning, and DDL.
• Backup/Recovery experience and DB2 monitoring.
• On-call support rotation for production.

Responsibilities

• Incident and problem resolution per SLAs.
• Execute DB2 utilities: Reorg, Runstats, Copy, Load, Unload.
• Execute DB2 commands: Stop, Start, Display, Cancel.
• Document solutions and implement changes.
• Manage DB2 security (RACF, Grants, Roles).
