Location: Plano, TX (5 Days Onsite)
Rate: $55/hr on W2
Contract Type: W2 Only (No C2C or 1099)

Responsibilities

• Strong experience with COBOL
• IMS (Information Management System)
• DB2 (Database 2)
• Experience with Mainframe Assembler Programming may be considered in place of COBOL
• Daily hands-on work with COBOL, IMS, and DB2 in prior roles

Preferred Skills

• General understanding of cloud computing concepts
• Familiarity with Ansible, Kubernetes, Jenkins, or similar DevOps tools

Project Scope

• Work on existing mainframe systems
• Support the design of microservices architecture as part of the modernization process
• No Java work required

Additional Notes

• W2 candidates only
• Must be local to Plano, TX or able to relocate immediately
