Baptist Health in Louisville is seeking an RN for the PACU in Main Surgery on a 24-hour weekly, part-time night shift. You will apply the nursing process to all assigned patients, from infancy to geriatric, delivering safe, high-quality care.

You will collaborate with the inter-professional team, participate in governance activities, and uphold Kentucky Nursing Laws and hospital policies. Ongoing professional development and clinical reasoning are expected to continuously improve patient

Qualificações

• Active Kentucky RN license required.
• PACU or Critical Care experience strongly desired.
• BCLS within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS/PALS within 6 months of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver care consistent with Kentucky Nursing Laws and organizational policies.

Summary

RN PACU Main Surgery

24 Hours Weekly, Part Time, Nightshift

Registered nurse implements the nursing process for each assigned to his/her care regardless of age (i.e. infancy to geriatric) and is responsible for the patient's care consistent with the Kentucky Nursing Laws and organizational policies and procedures. The registered nurse promotes positive patient outcomes and the delivery of quality patient care and initiates change through active involvement in the unit-based and hospital shared governance councils while contributing to a healthy professional practice environment.

National Professional Nursing Standards serve as guidelines for nurses as they utilize critical thinking and clinical reasoning skills and exercise appropriate nursing judgment. The registered nurse collaborates with the inter-professional team to enhance patient outcomes. The registered nurse serves as a role model through actively participating in the process of continuous professional development and lifelong learning. Utilizes the Nursing Process as the framework for providing care.

Requirements

• Active Kentucky RN License
• Previous PACU or Critical Care Experience Strongly Desired
• BCLS required within 90 days of hire
• ACLS/PALS required within 6 months of hire
