Job summary

The Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee seeks a passionate Main Kitchen Cook I to join our culinary team and help create memorable dining experiences for guests. You will prepare, cook, and present high-quality items, set up workstations, and ensure safety and sanitation standards are met.

Collaborate with chefs, manage inventory, and maintain kitchen cleanliness while adapting to a fast-paced environment. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required; competitive pay and benefits accompany this

Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience in a hotel, restaurant, banquet, or high-volume food service environment preferred.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen equipment, food safety practices, and sanitation regulations.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and time-management skills with a positive and professional attitude.
• Flexibility to work a varied schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events as needed.
